Meet the team at Illume

Tim Rumney |  Clinical Director

Tim combines roles: he’s a dentist as well as the practice owner, so he focuses not just on providing clients with high quality cosmetic and restorative dentistry, but also on developing the vision to see the practice constantly evolve and improve.

This is work for more than just one, though, and he’s proud to work with a great team of people. In his spare time, Tim plays sax in a big band and is building an eccentric 3-wheel kit car for fun.

Alison Rumney |  Non-clinical Director

Alison’s main responsibility is to empower, motivate and develop the team, so making sure we provide the best possible customer service to all our clients. Her main passion is cooking, although she also enjoys travelling, practising her French and Italian, reading and listening to her husband and sons make music.

Anna Cowgill |  Business Manager

Anna's role at the practice is unique. She has been with the practice since 2003 at first as a Dental Nurse and since 2006 as practice and business manager. In 2010 she completed a first class honours degree in Business Management. Her clinical and managerial skill set gives her a great understanding of the whole business and she relishes the job of turning the practice's vision into reality. Anna enjoys spending time with her young family, travelling, photography, skiing and sailing.

Sarah Moore |  Associate Dentist

Sarah qualified in 2001 and brings extra skills to Illume having experience in both orthodontics and in providing anti-wrinkle facial aesthetic treatments. In her spare time Sarah enjoys snowboarding, skiing and mountain biking and is the proud owner of a private helicopter licence.

Adrian Jones |  Associate Dentist

Adrian qualified in 1997 and since 2001 has worked in private practice. He has a special interest in endodontics – root canal therapy to most of us, is experienced in restoring implants and accredited to provide Invisalign® tooth straightening.

When not enjoying dentistry Adrian can usually be found outdoors; running, rock climbing or swimming with his children. He’s also a pretty handy guy to have in the kitchen and his love of food means he fits in really well with the rest of the team at Illume.

Cliff Nissen |  Associate Dentist

Cliff has considerable experience in the field of implant dentistry. After graduating he worked in various university dental departments and lectured in Periodontology for six years at the University of Dundee. He ran his own private practice in Germany whilst at the same time providing specialist implant services to a number of private practices in the area, something he now provides to practices in the South West of England.

Cliff is also a mentor for the Association of Dental Implantology and the International Team for Implantology. His areas of special interest include bone and soft tissue regeneration, sinus augmentation and treatment of aesthetic implant cases.

Agnes Gradon |  Dental Hygienist

Agnes is a member of the BDHA and qualified 20 years ago. She relishes the sheer variety of clients we see, all of whom benefit from her gentle approach. Despite her wealth of clinical experience, Agnes approaches every client as an individual with feelings, not just a mouth to treat. She loves cooking and gardening.

Lesley Card|  Dental Hygienist

Lesley qualified as a hygienist with the RAF in 1995 and has been working in Gloucestershire since 2000. The part she enjoys most about her role is dealing with nervous clients and turning around their preconceptions so they really look forward to coming to see her. Lesley has two goals: to run a marathon for Kidney Research UK and to own another motorbike one day!

Leanne Hobbs|  Dental Hygienist

Leanne joined us several years ago as a trainee dental nurse and after becoming a qualified dental nurse left to study for a diploma in Hygiene in Cardiff. We are delighted that she has now rejoined our team of three hygienists. Leanne's gentle approach has won over many clients. In her spare time she likes zumba, walking the dog and travelling.

Clare Pollard |  Registered Dental Nurse and Practice Coordinator

Clare's been with us since 2008 and as well as being a qualified nurse is also the person who keeps the practice running efficiently behind the scenes on a daily basis. She really enjoys her challenging and varied role at Illume. When not at work, Clare spends her time travelling and has a busy social life involving eating and drinking with her family and friends.

Deborah Turner |  Client Co-ordinator

Deborah’s is the first voice or face clients hear or see when they contact us. She loves this part of the job, as well as being part of our team, meeting new people and seeing how much better clients feel about themselves after their treatment. Deborah also enjoys DIY, gardening, eating out and shopping.

Edwina Hayes |  Client Co-ordinator

Edwina feels a major part of her role is to make clients feel comfortable straight away. She congratulates the nervous on how well they’ve done just to phone and turn up, and she combines this ability to put people at their ease with a friendly efficiency. Edwina likes to travel, and also enjoys gardening, theatre, walking and eating.

Carley Warren |  Registered Dental Nurse and Clinical Co-ordinator

Carley’s been nursing for over eight years and is a qualified patient care co-ordinator, which means she can give Oral Hygiene instruction as well as discuss in-depth treatment plans with clients. She loves the interaction with such a wide variety of clients and relishes the fun she has at work. Carley also enjoys Pilates, keeping fit and shopping.

Claire Fuorvito |  Registered Dental Nurse and Implant Co-ordinator

Claire’s been a Registered Dental Nurse for 25 years and, as our Implant Co-ordinator, has six years’ Implantology experience. Because she has a caring nature and enjoys looking after clients personally as well as clinically, she gets a huge buzz from seeing a happy client leave after a course of treatment. Claire also enjoys swimming, gardening cooking, cycling, camping and spending time with her family.

Jean Pinero|  Registered Dental Nurse

Jean has been a Registered Dental Nurse for 7 years. She has a caring professional manner and loves the rapport she has with Illume’s clients. She assists both our hygienists and dentists. Jean loves all kinds of music and dancing and going shopping with her friends.

Anna Winters |  Dental Nurse in Training

Anna joined us in March 2010 as a trainee dental nurse and is currently studying to become a registered dental nurse. She enjoys caring for our clients at Illume and is always keen to learn new skills.

In her free time she enjoys swimming and cooking and meeting up with her friends.

Catherine Jones |  Client Co-ordinator

Catherine joined our front desk team in June 2011 and brings with her a wealth of knowledge in delivering fantastic customer service. She is always prepared to go the extra mile to make our clients happy. In her spare time she enjoys fine wine and good food followed by a long dog walk to burn off all the calories!
